Kepemimpinan Kaum Awam: Analisis Yohanes 21 tentang Kepemimpinan Otentik

Authentic leadership among laypeople is a crucial aspect of church ministry that often receives inadequate attention. In John 21, there is a profound example of leadership through Jesus' restoration of Peter, emphasizing that true leadership is rooted in love, responsibility, and service. This study aims to analyze the concept of authentic leadership in John 21 and identify its characteristics and implications for laypeople in the church. The methodology used is qualitative analysis with a theological approach, through literature review and biblical text analysis, focusing on John 21 to explore the meaning and application of authentic leadership. The results indicate that authentic leadership is marked by sincere love for God and others, love-based service, and responsibility in shepherding, which are essential for building a healthy and effective church community.
Kepemimpinan otentik di kalangan kaum awam merupakan aspek krusial dalam pelayanan gereja yang sering kali kurang mendapat perhatian. Dalam Yohanes 21, terdapat contoh mendalam tentang kepemimpinan melalui pemulihan Petrus oleh Yesus, yang menekankan bahwa kepemimpinan sejati berakar pada kasih, tanggung jawab, dan pelayanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep kepemimpinan otentik dalam Yohanes 21 serta mengidentifikasi karakteristik dan implikasinya bagi kaum awam di gereja. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif dengan pendekatan teologis, melalui kajian literatur dan analisis teks Alkitab, dengan fokus pada Yohanes 21 untuk menggali makna dan penerapan kepemimpinan otentik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan otentik ditandai oleh kasih yang tulus kepada Tuhan dan sesama, pelayanan berbasis kasih, serta tanggung jawab dalam penggembalaan, yang penting untuk membangun komunitas gereja yang sehat dan efektif.
