This article explores the important role of hope in the Christian life by exploring the concept of hope in the Bible and the development of the theology of hope from the Old Testament to the New Testament. This research highlights that Christian hope is not just optimism based on current conditions, but a belief in divine promises that create new forces from outside the current situation. Theological analysis emphasizes the role of perseverance in nurturing hope amidst challenges and suffering. The article also discusses the paradox between divine involvement and God's hiddenness, emphasizing that Christian hope cannot always be predicted from the current situation, but rather stems from the promise of a certain future existence for humans. The results of this research say that hope is not just an emotional aspect or optimism, but a certainty that grows from belief in God who is involved in every aspect of life. Through this paradox, hope becomes a driver of courage and strength, creating a firm anchor that guides the steps of His people on the journey of life.
